Bonnie Cazier was born and raised in Salt Lake City and discovered early in life that she loved drawing more than anything else. After a 35 year career as a fashion illustrator, graphic designer and art director she took the plunge into painting full time. Her western landscape and equine-themed paintings have garnered many local and national awards and her artwork has gained a loyal following of collectors in the U.S and Canada. She has also translated a lifelong love of horses into a thriving commercial horse photography business which keeps her busy in the Western U.S. during summer and fall months. In 2017 a friend introduced her to the medium of alcohol ink where she was instantly captivated by the vibrant colors, spontaneity and unpredictable results. It has since become her favorite creative outlet. The medium lends itself to contemporary, abstract pieces that evoke wisps of smoke and evocative movement. Prints and originals are available as well as custom commissioned pieces.
