What do you do for work?
I’ve been a corporate restructuring lawyer for almost 20 years.  I represent companies that are in financial distress, and also clients that are interested in investing (or find themselves inadvertently invested) in the distressed market.  Think The Big Short, Lehman Brothers (which I actually worked on!), etc… My labor of love has been helping to develop Brooklyn Bridge Park – a gorgeous 85 acre park on the Brooklyn waterfront.  I handle all the pro bono work of the Conservancy and serve on its board.  It’s a gift to be able to work on something that’s not only personally meaningful but also so impactful for the community

Last google search?
“Do you like piña coladas” followed by “Linda Fairstein Dominique Strauss Kahn”.  Don’t ask.

Tell us something surprising about yourself?
As a child I wanted to be either on Soul Train or a Solid Gold dancer.   Sadly, I accomplished neither, but I was a club kid for a brief moment in the late 1980’s (much to my parents’ dismay).

What’s the hardest part of being a WWVWD moderator?
When someone approves a clearly controversial post without giving the rest of us mods fair warning (cough * Nina * cough).

What’s your vice?
Not that I think that these are vices, but clothes, far-flung travel, and expensive, stinky cheese – ideally all three at the same time.

Favorite Soul Cycle Song?
Oooh – right now it’s a tie – Gold by Chet Faker and “Gold Digger” by Kanye.  (see above, re: “Solid Gold Dancer”…)

Biggest parenting fail?

Favorite thread from the group ever?
Stoop wine.  An oldie, but a goodie.
