Abbe Does It is a full service, editorially-driven PR and marketing agency, , offering all facets of public relations, editorial assistance including book doctoring, event planning and production, image and design consulting, fundraising and what we like to call "artful schmoozing." Founded by Abbe Aronson in 2010 after an established career as magazine editor and writer, Abbe Does It boasts nearly 100 clients, including authors, restaurateurs, entrepreneurs, inventors, branding agencies, festivals, not-for-profit organizations, hoteliers, artists, performers and publications.
Abbe credits her years in editorial and publishing as giving her an edge over other publicists, as she understands how to approach and pitch media so that they take note of her clients and their projects. She has been quoted as a source in, among others, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, Better Homes & Gardens, Interior Design and Good Housekeeping.
Abbe lives in the Hudson Valley region of New York, but works in and around NYC on a weekly basis and and services clients nationwide. Some of Abbe Does It's highlighted moments includes pitching and attracting the attention of Lady Gaga for a fundraising project (Abbe arranged for Gaga to shoot a video in support of an event for the ACLU, in which Gaga first teased out her major hit, "Born This Way") to Abbe's own well-deserved professional moniker, "Queen of The Catskills" (home base here in the Hudson Valley continues to attract the interest of national media as "the new Hamptons" and the press always goes to Abbe first to get the inside scoop on what's hot in the region).
