WWVWD D.C. Book Launch

April 16, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free with RSVP

Please join us for a glass of wine (or tequila) and a discussion with Nina Lorez Collins and PBS Public Editor Madhulika Sikkato to celebrate the publication of “What Would Virginia Woolf Do? And Other Questions I Ask Myself As I Attempt to Age Without Apology.”

Madhulika Sikka is the Public Editor for PBS. From 2006 until 2015, Sikka was at NPR News, where she most recently served as Executive Editor, overseeing worldwide coverage. Prior to this role, she was the Executive Producer of the nation’s most listened-to radio news broadcast, “Morning Edition.” After NPR, Sikka has served as a Vice President and Executive Editor of Mic, a digital news startup, and most recently, as an independent media consultant. A breast cancer survivor, she wrote the book, A Breast Cancer Alphabet, published by the Crown, in 2014. She also created a book discovery website and podcast, 52weeks52books52women.

Buy a book at the event and your receipt will enter you to win a Crave Vesper Vibrator Necklace!

Huge thanks to our tequila sponsors, Herradura and El Jimador.
